Moving Out
In Ontario, your termination date must be at least
60 days after you give your landlord (or property manager) your written notice that you plan to move. Also, the termination date on your notice must be the last day of the rental period (e.g., the last day of the month). If you signed a fixed term lease, then your termination date cannot be earlier than the end date of your lease.
